Free gives you unlimited snippets and every feature in the app, kept only on your own computer.

Pro adds a cloud backup, sync across every Mac you sign in on, and new power features as they ship. It costs $24 a year or $3 a month, plus any sales tax where you live. New accounts get 30 days of Pro free, with no card needed. Founding subscribers who lock in a lower price keep it for as long as their subscription stays active.

Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year, charged to the card you subscribed with, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page. Pro then stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and doesn’t renew.

When Pro ends, sync stops, but your snippets stay on your computers and your cloud copy isn’t deleted, so subscribing again picks up where you left off. If we ever change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.

If Pro isn’t for you, email izzy@hendecalabs.com within 30 days of your first charge and we’ll refund it in full. No questions asked.

After that, we don’t refund the rest of a month or year you’ve already started, except where the law where you live says we must. Cancelling stops the next charge.

You own what you write in Quillbud. You let us store and copy your snippets only as far as we need to back them up and sync them for you. We don’t read them, sell them or use them for anything else. The privacy policy says exactly what we keep.

Please don’t use Quillbud to break the law, send spam, or harm anyone, and don’t:

• try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or get around what your plan includes
• overload, attack or interfere with the servers Quillbud uses
• resell Quillbud or share one Pro account between several people

Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Quillbud types text into other apps for you. Check what a snippet types before you send it somewhere it matters. We work hard to make expansion reliable, but some apps handle typed and pasted text in unusual ways, and we can’t promise it works perfectly in every one.

Quillbud is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, profits or business, from using it.

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with Quillbud is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You can stop using Quillbud and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why. If we ever shut Quillbud down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice and time to download your snippets, and refund any paid time you haven’t used.

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and its date. For changes that matter to you, we’ll also email you before they take effect. Using Quillbud after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. That never takes away protections the consumer law where you live gives you.
